I promised a photo update...

...and here it is!

As I mentioned previously, I shot with Andy Espin over Easter where we just played around with some edgy gothic/punk fashion in my living room. Last night I recieved a few photos from Andy -a couple I love, I just wish they were all edited in the same style as the first image shown here. Can't be too picky though eyy!

I also have the final photos back from Neil Anderson and our amazing art nude shoot we did over Easter in a derelict factory. I LOVE how they've turned out and can't wait to shoot with him again in the near future, hopefully when I'm in London at the end of the month!

I am SO rubbish

A couple of things...

I'm pretty much appauled at myself for how long it's been since I updated this, (not that much has happened as of late as I'm currently busy moving out of my flat) but figured I owe my followers an apology either way!

I've also been quite unwell lately and have a doctors appointment booked for tomorrow morning to see if I can find out what's wrong with me! When I return home however, I promise you a big fat juicy update with lots and lots of photos!

It's now 2:30am and I should probably go to sleep. Just wanted to lt you all know that I AM still alive and I WILL be back shooting again as soon as I can! Update on Louisa's Topshop-style Ad Campaign

Here are the final shots from Louisa's Topshop-style ad campaign we shot a couple of weeks ago. I'm SO HAPPY with how these turned out! Sian did an amazing job on the hair and makeup and Georgina really captured some gorgeous shots. Major props to Louisa for her concept and styling obviously too. The girls I worked with on this shoot were one of the best creative teams I've collaborated with so far, hands down!

So I've been pretty rubbish...

...with updating over the past week! Apologies but I've been super busy moving out of my flat and was internet-less in Northampton for a while too.

Anyway, I'm back and here's a belated update!

Last Thursday Andy Espin came over to my flat to shoot some edgy fashion stuff on a tf* basis. I don't usually work tf* as this is my only sourc of income but as his idea sounded interesting I thought I'd give it a go. We had a few creative differences whilst shooting which is actually so new to me - I often get on with photographers extremely well but the whole time something was just rubbing me up the wrong way. It may have just been down to distractions and the fact we kept getting interrupted whilst shooting or we may have just not seen eye-to-eye! From what I've seen of the shots though I'm happy with what we achieved, although I do feel as though I could have done better.

Here is a preview of the style we went for whilst shooting. I did my own makeup and styling.

I don't think I'll be doing a tf* shoot again for a while unless it's with people I have worked with on a regular basis with already. I've gotten used to a completely different way of working!

New Look

So today I decided to cut my hair into a block fringe. I cant help but think I look really oriental.

I'd like someone with actual hairdressing skills to cut it shorter for me so my eyebrows see daylight again as I've just developed a knack for pencilling them in!

Louisa's Topshop Campaign

Yesterday I modeled for my friend Louisa and her Topshop-style ad campaign she's currently working on. My good friend Georgina Robinson was photographer and Sian Revill was MUA for the afternoon. We were running late after a couple of mess ups but even though we got to our location late the people running the whole place were SO relaxed and we ended up shooting 3.30pm til 6.30pm rather than 2pm til 3.30pm!

I am so, SO happy with how the shots turned out and Louisa loves them too so all the planning and hard work was really worth it.

Bad Kitty Update

Today I recieved contact sheets from Chris Instinct of the photos from our latex 'Bad Kitty' shoot we did last week. There are SO MANY shots to choose from it's unreal hoever I do have a few favourites so far.

Tomorrow I have a shoot for my friend Louisa's fashion work in the style of a Topshop Ad Campaign. Georgina Robinson will be the photographer and Sian Revill will be doing hair and makeup. I am SO excited for this shoot! The dress I'll be wearing sounds amazing and what I've seen of the location so far is fantastic!

I'll update you all with some more behind the scenes from tomorrow's shoot soon so keep your eyes peeled! I'm also modeling in my friend Joe's video project on Wednesday.

Derelict Art Nude

Today I had an art nude shoot with Neil Anderson in a derelict factory building just round the back of my student halls. Neil was lovely and a real pleasure to work with!

He arrived at 10.30 and we shot from 11 til 2, I was frozen and so achey once we'd finished shooting! When we arrived there were builders working on the building next door and luckily we managed to get in, shoot and get out of our factory building without them batting an eyelid! We shot a mix of edgy part-nude and artistic nude and from what I've seen so far I'm really happy with and am looking forward to working with Neil again in the near future.

He kindly sent me a couple of off-guard photos from the shoot to put up here and give you a preview of what's to come!

Art Is The Cure mini-shoot

Just finished shooting with Georgina Robinson for her 'Creative women in the industry' project at my flat. She used her Holga so will have to wait a while to see the finished shots. Really excited to see how they turn out though!

Last Thursday after shooting my new sets for PunkGrl with Adam Robertson we had a little bit of spare time to shoot the tees Rich at AITC sent me to model. I love how they turned out and so does Rich so we're deffinitely onto a winner with them!

Latex Luvvin'

Yesterday Chris came over to carry out this idea we've been toying with for a while now. Latex cats! The general theme was 'bad kitty makes a mess' which involved mopping my kitchen floor clean, pouring cream all over it, playing in it, then roping Hollie into the shoot to dress up as a maid and mop the floor clean again! The photos look awesome, just waiting for him to clean up the final shots and I'll update you all =]
